After decades of fighting between Israelis and Palestinians, it's easy to fall into a pattern of blame and hatred. But this comment by one Tel Aviv resident says it all:

She's referring to the new life-saving missile defence technology called "Iron Dome", which has drastically cut Israeli casualties from Hamas rocket attacks. In the past week's conflict, 161 Palestinians have died, and five Israelis.

Of course, this is not the "only" difference. But it's an important one. There may now be a ceasefire in place, but until there's a lasting and fair peace for everyone, children on both sides of the Israel-Gaza border will continue to live in fear.
