There's still work to do. Sadly, Californian voters did not pass Proposition 34, which would have ended the death penalty. Oregon and Arkansas rejected legalising marijuana – and the states that did choose to legalise it will now face challenges for going against federal law. The same goes for kicking big money out of politics: a battle in the courts and the legislature is brewing.
